Gasparino was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February 2022. He revealed the diagnosis on Sunday, March 27, 2022, in his New York Post column. He stated that a few weeks earlier before being diagnosed with cancer, he had COVID-19 but had only mild symptoms. Gasparino then went for a blood test and when the results came back, he found that he had spiking PSA levels. He said that his MRI was fine, but the blood kept coming back. His doctors ultimately recommended a biopsy. It was after one day that he was told that he had Malignant prostate cancer. Gasparino eventually underwent successful surgery. He advised his viewers to not be afraid to always take action and to always pay attention to doctors.
