Falkers serves at KGW-TV (an NBC affiliate) as the anchor at Sunrise on weekends and as a news reporter on weekdays. She has always enjoyed telling stories, even before she realized she could make a career out of it. She started making home video talk shows and special news reports for school projects when she was in elementary school. Falkers relocated to Portland from Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she worked as a morning anchor at WFRV-TV for four and a half years. She hosted and produced the midday show as well.
Falkers is a Minnesota native who grew up rooting for the Green Bay Packers. She’s moved to the Pacific Northwest, but she’ll always be a supporter of the green and gold. Fortunately, the Packers have a sizable fan base in Portland. Falkers began her career as a reporter for WDIO/WIRT in Duluth, Minnesota, in 2012. She moved to the anchor desk after a few months in the field, welcoming early risers on Good Morning Northland. Since then, the morning news has become a part of her passion.

Falker posted a photo of her sister and her partner on her Facebook page with the caption, “I’m going to be an AUNTIE!!! My sister Steph and her partner Matt are welcoming a new rider to the F in a Round Ranch this fall! (Yes that is the real name of the Falkers farm)” on 14 June 2020.
