Bob has brought his audiences one on one interviews with Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. He was in News 2 from 1980 as a field reporter covering the State Capitol. Before that, Mueller was an investigative and state government reporter and anchor for WTVC-TV in Chattanooga. He got his first job in television as a reporter, producer, and anchor for WMBD-TV in Peoria, Illinois. In addition to these, he began his career as Journalist in broadcasting in high school, working as a radio news reporter/disc jockey.
