Becky Ditchfield is an American Emmy Award-winning Meteorologist who is well-known for having worked at 9NEWS. She joined the station in June 2007.
She graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana with a B.S. degree in Meteorology. Becky also has held minors in both math and National Weather Association and is a member of both the American Meteorological Society and broadcasting.

Ditchfield recently served at 9NEWS as a meteorologist. This was before quitting working with the station. Before joining 9NEWS she was working as a meteorologist at KTHV-TV. Ditchfield has worked as a meteorologist for a TV station in Hastings, Neb. She likes to travel but her favorite place is the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Becky has been interested in the weather ever since she was a little girl. Becky used to be scared of thunderstorms, that fear turned into curiosity, but when she got older. Since she decided on Meteorology as a major in college and calculus and physics were Becky’s best subjects in high school.
She also loves anything that has to do with sports. She is a huge Cardinals, Blues fan, and Rams, which can usually be found near a television cheering her team on. However, now that she calls Denver home, Ditchfield says she has been added a few more favorite sports teams to that list. While she is not screaming at the television, Ditchfield also enjoys spending time with family and friends and working on home projects, and volunteering as an advisor for the Chi Omegas at the University of Denver.
