Ayesha Khan is an American Anchor and Reporter working for Fox 5 DC serving as a news reporter. She has been working for the station since July 2019 after working for KTVI FOX 2 in Greater St. Louis as a News Reporter and Weekend Anchor.

She worked there for five years before heading out. Khan moved to Salisbury, Md where she landed a job at WBOC-TV. While there, she did her job as a multi-media journalist and weekend morning anchor for almost three years. From there, she headed to Greater St. Louis and landed a job at KDNL ABC30. While there, she served the station as a reporter for two years.

In the summer of 2019, Khan got a phone call from her doctor on July 20, 2021, warning her to “brace yourself” for the news that she had invasive ductal carcinoma. The news came just short of her 40th birthday. She has been sharing her experience and fight against stage 3 breast cancer all through the Fox 5 series, ‘Cancer: Fight over Fear’ with hopes of providing helpful information to her community. On her Twitter page, she says, “Thankfully my body is responding well to treatments and I am on my way to getting better. In the meantime, #advocate for yourself, get that screening test, that #mammogram, self-exam & get more than one opinion,” she said on Twitter.
