Avalos and his wife sold a 3-bedroom townhome in south suburban Orland Park in September for $560,000. He paid $510,000 for the townhome in December of 2018. After purchasing the 2,580-square-foot brick townhome in the gated Crystal Tree golf community, Avalos and his wife started renovating it. The renovation included installing new air conditioning, new plumbing, a new furnace, new paint, new carpeting, new wainscoting, new bathrooms, and quartz countertops in the kitchen. The house featured a first-floor primary bedroom suite with walk-in closets, a living room with a fireplace, a 2-story family room, a formal dining room with patio doors to a stone patio, and a first-floor laundry room. Eventually, however, Avalos and his wife decided to live in their existing 4-bedroom, 3,644-square-foot home in Orland Park, which they bought in the year 2001 for $644,000. In the year 2018, the town home had a $10,962 property tax bill.
