Bernier is a meteorologist who joined FOX8 by launching a one-hour, weekday-morning newscast from 6 AM to 7 AM. He stayed for over 19 years on weekday mornings before switching over to join Dick Goddard, Cleveland’s symbol. The outdoor weather set design, a concept he took with him from his former job at KARE-TV-11, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was also created by André. Now training for his commercial pilot’s license, he is an instrument-rating pilot.

As a guest speaker and evangelist, he often receives invites to other local pulpits, and has served as a temporary minister at churches in Massillon in 2012 and most recently in Chesterland, OH.
