Reyes is a traffic anchor at KPRC 2 News Today, NBC TV’s local affiliate in Houston, Texas. She is also working alongside Owen Conflenti, Britta Merwin, Amy Davis, and Haley Hernandez during the morning newscast. She had also worked for others stations prior to joining KPRC-TV. For instance, she previously worked for KVUE in Austin, Texas where she served as a traffic anchor. While at KVUE Austin, Texas, she assisted in the launching of the traffic department and worked as the station’s Daybreak morning traffic anchor.
Reyes started his career in television after landing a job in Abilene right after graduating from The University of Texas at San Antonio. While at Abilene, Texas, she produced, edited, wrote, reported, and anchored an all-Spanish newscast for Telemundo. In addition to that, she also anchored in English for the company’s sister stations, KRBC and KTAB. Prior to that, she worked as a web editor at KPRC’s Click2Houston.com digital platform and as a web editor and feature reporter at KROI-FM Houston.
Whenever she is not working she finds pleasure in going on long hikes with the dogs and she is looking forward to running around Memorial Park again.
