Prior to joining WPLG Local 10 News, she worked at WSB-TV based in Atalanta, Georgia where she served as an investigative reporter. During her tenure at WSB-TV, she enclosed several crime stories including Georgia’s largest crackdown on tax preparers accused of theft.
Prior to working at WSB-TV, she worked at a station in Nashville, Tennessee where she enclosed the shooting death of Steve McNair who was an NFL quarterback. She began her TV career working at Telemundo’s affiliate in Washington where she served as a Spanish-language reporter. She had previously worked at WJLA-TV in D.C. where she served as a segment producer and writer.
Viteri is also an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. She is also very active when it comes to helping her community. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also enjoys cheering for the Miami Hurricanes, Washington Capitals, and Baltimore Ravens.
