Hockert is an anchor and special projects reporter working for FOX 9 KMSP in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She joined the station in 2015 and is grateful to live and work in her home state. Prior to joining the FOX 9 News team, she worked for Bring Me The News as a chief content officer and journalist.
Her journalism career job began in college. During that time, she worked for the NBC affiliate in Fargo-Moorhead. She also worked in Minot, North Dakota, and Raleigh, North Carolina before moving back to Minnesota. In addition to that, she worked for KARE-11 in Minnesota. In the course of her working time there, she served the station as a News Anchor for six years.
From there, she worked for the digital news organization, Bring Me The News as a VP. Hockert took an 8-year hiatus from TV news to start a family and in 2015 she joined KMSP FOX 9. During her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family, husband, and children.
As for her education, Hockert is a proud graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After completing her studies there, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications.
