In 2008, she joined Sarasota High School where she attained her high school diploma in 2012. She, later on, joined The University of Florida where she attained her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Meteorology, and Climatology in 2017. In 2017, she joined Mississippi State University where she attained her Master’s degree in Applied Meteorology in 2019.

Prior to joining WJLA News, she worked at WBTW News 13 based in Myrtle Beach, SC from July 2017 till her departure in June 2019 serving as the weekend evening and midday weekday meteorologist. She also served as the main fill-in anchor and did daily social media updates. While WBTW News 13, she enclosed several weather events including Hurricanes Irma, Michael, and Florence.
Holly previously worked at WRUF-TV|WUFT-TV based in Florida where she served as a weather forecaster from May 2013 to July 2017 While at WRUF-TV|WUFT-TV, she presented weather forecasts on social media (Facebook, Twitter, and the station’s website). From May 2015 to August 2015, she interned at Spirit Aerosystems based in Wichita, Kansas. Prior to her internship program, she worked at Florida Digestive Health Specialists where she served as a Gastroenterologist Secretary from May 2010 to August 2013 in Sarasota, Florida.
Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. In addition to that, she is also a certified NAUI SCUBA Instructor who has quite a number of technical certifications including advanced nitrox, cave, and decompression diving.
