Rae is a meteorologist who was previously working for ABC7 and NBC2 from 2010 -to 2014. After spending three years at the CBS affiliate in Washington DC, WUSA9, as the weekday morning meteorologist, she returned to NBC2. After covering one of the biggest snow events for the region, the Blizzard of 2016, she wouldn’t hesitate to return to SWFL, the place she calls home. She was employed in the tornado-prone southern Gulf States at WSFA in Montgomery, AL, and her first job at KNOE in Monroe, LA  before 2010.

Rae is a Pittsburgh native. She attended Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with a degree in Meteorology.  She has the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal from the American Meteorology Society. She enjoys taking advantage of Florida’s gorgeous beaches and is an enthusiastic runner when she is not at work.
