In addition, she hosted, produced, and created two original franchises such as the Emmy-nominated “Best Kept Secrets of New Jersey” and a bargain-hunting series.
Before that, she worked as an anchor and reporter for six-year at Time Warner Cable and NY1 News in New York City. Throughout her career, she has traveled to many places to cover stories such as the CMA Awards, the Oscars, the Royal Wedding, Dancing with the Stars, as well as the beatification of Pope John Paul II at the Vatican.
Furthermore, Vitarelli has a daily segment on Action News at 4 called “The Buzz.” and has interviewed many Hollywood A-listers. When she was interviewing Tom Hanks she says she was a little star-struck. Apart from bringing newscasts, she also has a weekly entertainment program, FYI Philly which she co-hosts.
Vitarelli has been the Grand Marshal of the Italian American Woman of the Year for the Center for Italian and Italian American Culture, the East Hanover Italian American Club, and the Italian American Police Society of NJ, as well as the Italian American Festival in North Wildwood, NJ.
