While still in college, he worked at the campus station, VUTV where he was the weather director. In addition to that, he was also live on other networks including TNT and ESPN as the school’s mascot, “The Crusader.”
Sherwinski interned at WGN based in Chicago, Illinois as well as WCIA 3 in Champaign, IL. After his internship programs, he moved on to work at KODE 12 based in Joplin, Missouri where he served as the Weekend Meteorologist, weekday reporter, and later on as their morning meteorologist. During his tenure at KODE 12 News, he enclosed several extreme weather events including ice storms, tornadoes, and sizzling temperatures.
Sherwinski later left KODE 12 News and joined WMBD/WYZZ News based in Peoria in 2020 where he served as the weekend meteorologist. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys traveling, playing video games, watching sports, and engaging in other outdoor activities.
