Amin serves at FOX Sports where he covers MLB games, and later, NFL games, beginning in May 2020 after having worked for ESPN since 2011. He also serves as the NBA’s play-by-play announcer for the Chicago Bulls. On July 25, Amin made his network debut alongside FOX MLB analyst Eric Karros. Amin will be the primary television play-by-play announcer for the Chicago Bulls beginning with the 2020-21 season, in addition to his FOX Sports duties.
Prior to joining FOX Sports, Amin worked for ESPN for nine years, covering a wide range of high-profile sports and events across multiple platforms. Amin joined ESPN in 2011 and quickly established himself as one of the industry’s most versatile broadcasters, providing play-by-play commentary for college football on ABC/ESPN, NBA playoffs on ESPN and ESPN Radio, and two Women’s Final Fours.
He has also broadcast MLB playoff games on ESPN Radio, five Women’s College World Series, the McDonald’s High School All-American Games, the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, and NCAA championship events in wrestling, volleyball, and baseball. Amin also hosted a few episodes of “Baseball Tonight” and was an anchor for the network’s NFL and college basketball studio shows. Amin spent eight seasons calling NFL games for ESPN Radio and Sports USA Radio before joining FOX’s NFL coverage. After working on ESPN Radio’s coverage of the 2016 Fiesta Bowl, he became the youngest play-by-play announcer to call a New Year’s Six Bowl Game.
Amin was also on the national radio broadcast for Auburn’s amazing last-second “Kick Six” victory over Alabama in the 2013 Iron Bowl. Amin previously worked as a play-by-play announcer, host, and reporter for Turner Sports Digital/NCAA Productions, FOX Sports Wisconsin, the Illinois High School Association, and the Horizon League Network. Amin’s early career included stops in Gary, Indiana, and Somerset, New Jersey, calling minor league baseball, as a studio host for Valparaiso University football and basketball broadcasts, and as sports director at KUOO Radio in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
