He attended East Syracuse Minoa high school where he graduated proudly and while he was at the school he also interned at its weather office.
Later on, he joined The State University of New York where he studied meteorology for a period of two years. Later on, he transferred to Penn State where he graduated with a bachelor of science degree in meteorology.
Before he joined the Storm Team in January 1995, he was an on-air meteorologist in Portland, Maine, and in Burlington, Vermont. In addition, the American Meteorological Society approved his Storm Team forecasts.
Furthermore, he visited hundreds of classrooms teaching students about the variety of weather that central New York is known for. Furthermore, he served as the Honorary Chair of the local Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Prior to also serving on the board of the Central New York Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and was a part of a number of Muscular Dystrophies Labor Day Telethons.
