While she worked at NBC, she covered everything from intense heat waves to lake effect snow to big wind storms. Furthermore, she led the station’s climate change coverage thus she became the first meteorologist in that market to share the important stories of how a warming world is affecting the region.
Waldman started her career with the AccuWeather Network and while she was there, she learned to forecast the weather for places all over the United States. In addition, she has also worked in radio stations such as Truckee, Modesto, and Stockton while she was with AccuWeather.
