Stewart attended Chesapeake’s Deep Creek High School, during this time, he interned with one of the deans of Hampton Roads weather, Dr. Duane Harding. Later he joined North Carolina State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a minor in Communication. He loved college football, especially when NC State beat UNC.
