Before coming to WILX, she was working for Sacred Heart Football broadcasts on SportsNet-NY and the Sacred Heart Football broadcasts on SportsNet-NY, as a sideline reporter and video features reporter respectively.
Cannizzaro is a proud alumnus of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, where she earned he B.A. in Business Management Finance, as well as a Master’s degree in Sports Broadcasting. Also, she graduated from the university with a minor in economics, as well as a major in Finance and Business Management. During her stint at the university, she served as the Football Sideline Reporter for SportsNet New York(SNY). Still, as a student at the university, Cannizzaro worked as a Production Assistant, as well as Production Intern at WWE Network.
Cannizzaro worked as a weekend sports anchor for KAAL-TV, an ABC affiliate TV station in Rochester, Minnesota from January 2017 to February 2019. There she covered the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs, as well as the Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis, and the 2018 NFC divisional round playoff game.
