Del Rodgers is an American football player and journalist working for KCRA3 in Sacramento, CA as a Sports Director. He anchors the sportscasts Monday through Friday during KCRA 3 Reports at 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. in high definition. He joined the network in 1997.

Rodgers used to be a football player prior to joining the journalism career. He was once selected by the Green Bay Packers during the third round of the 1982 NFL Draft. Rodgers was also the first 1,000-yard rusher in Utes history. He played for the Packers from 1982 to 1985, he also ran a 97-yard kick return for a touchdown against the Chicago Bears on December 9, 1984.
Rodgers played two seasons for the San Francisco 49ers from 1987 to 1988 and was primarily used as a kickoff returner after being absent for a whole year from the league. He was also a member of the 49ers when they won Super Bowl XXIII, beating the Cincinnati Bengals 20-16 in 1989. He earned a Super Bowl ring.
