Angela Ganote is an American 4-time Emmy award-winning News Anchor working for FOX 59 as the morning news anchor. Prior to joining Fox 59, she worked at WLFI in Lafayette, WSBT in South Bend, and WCMH in Columbus, Ohio.
Ganote attended Hamilton Southeastern High School where she graduated in 1990. She then attended and graduated from Indiana University. Later she went to Purdue University where she graduated in 1996.
While in college, Ganote worked at the National Weather Service in Indianapolis. After that, her 1st TV assignment was at WLFI-TV 18 in West Lafayette, Indiana. From there, she spent 4 years forecasting the weather in Sacramento, California.
She returned to central Indiana in 2001 to work at WISH-TV and then moved on to WTHR13 in 2012 where she works to date. Her forecasting has earned her 5 Emmy awards.
